Apparently people are running out of things I enjoy while in this quarantine.
It seems like folks were getting bored a few months ago & came up with creative solutions to keep themselves entertained. Since then, it looks like most of us have given up on taking on modern projects, however people are ready to get outdoors & throw caution to the wind. Meanwhile, my Grandma continues to come up with more & more home projects for herself. She has already wallpapered several rooms, substituted the brick in her driveway, & cleaned her gutters several times. Most recently, she decided that it would be beneficial to have her heating & cooling system completely renovated. Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with her old air conditioning unit or forced air boiler. She had no problem with her relatively modern control unit which was programmable & self-explanatory to modify. She didn’t have any troubles with her energy bill or problems about her overall air quality. Point blank, my Grandma got bored & decided to hire a professional heating & cooling corporation to replace her central HVAC system & pass the time. By having HVAC professionals coming in & out of her condo all afternoon she was not going to feel lonely. By learning about her modern heating & cooling devices she didn’t have to feel bored. By installing a modern smart control unit she had an excuse to play with her iPhone for several hours each afternoon. All of her boredom materialized in a brand modern set of air quality control devices that she easily doesn’t appreciate. I hope she’s blissful with her modern HVAC system; this pandemic doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.
