Apparently people are running out of things to do doing while in this quarantine.
It seems like folks were getting bored a few months ago and came up with creative solutions to keep themselves entertained.
Since then, it looks like most of us have given up on taking on up-to-date projects! People are ready to get outdoors and throw caution to the wind. Meanwhile, my Grandma continues to come up with more and more home projects for herself. She has already wallpapered many rooms, upgraded the cement in her driveway, and cleaned her gutters many times. Most recently, she decided that it would be beneficial to have her heating and cooling system completely renovated. Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with her old a/c device or forced air heater. She had no problem with her relatively up-to-date temperature control which was programmable and straight-forward to modify. She did not have any issues with her energy bill or issues about her overall air quality. Point blank, my Grandma got bored and decided to hire a professional heating and cooling company to upgrade her central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system and pass the time. By having Heating, Ventilation, and A/C workers coming in and out of her home all afternoon she was not going to feel lonely. By learning about her up-to-date heating and cooling devices she did not have to feel bored. By installing a up-to-date smart temperature control she had an excuse to play with her iPhone for many hours each afternoon. All of her boredom materialized in a brand up-to-date set of air quality control devices that she undoubtedly does not appreciate. I hope she’s thrilled with her up-to-date Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system; this pandemic doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.
