My family is coming over for Thanksgiving supper tomorrow. However she said that due to the amount of ice as well as the thickness of it, it was not normal. It turns out that the coils were clogged by the ice so there was no regular heat transport between the refrigerant as well as the outside air, and luckily she was able to repair the concern within in an hour so I could use my heating system again.
