One of my number one things to do is travel plus stay in hotels.
I appreciate the idea of getting away from reality plus relinquishing all responsibilities.
It is nice to know that at a hotel, there are people who will do just about anything you ask. Of course, these requests come at a price, however that is okay. A requirement I consistently request when I am looking for a hotel to stay in is that the room has control of the heating plus cooling. If there is not a control unit in the room, I will not stay there. I am lucky to be with someone who enjoys sleeping in a chilly room plus with multiple fans. I can not sleep well in a sizzling room that is too quiet. I like the idea of being able to control the temperature in the hotel room. I recently stayed in a hotel where there was access to the control unit, however the temperature only went down to 72 degrees. In order to sleep comfortably, I need to be in a room that is at least 70 degrees. With one easy cellphone call, I was able to have the front desk adjust the temperature in our hotel to 70 degrees. I did not like that they had a block on the control unit in this hotel room, but I understood. The front desk told us that people would come from the Northern states where it was honestly chilly plus adjust the control unit to fit their comfort zone. People had been setting the control unit at 60 degrees plus chilly the Heating plus A/C system for multiple years before the hotel decided to put the lock on the control unit.
