Apparently you can’t count on anyone these days. I know that many of us are feeling frazzled and overworked with the current climate. However, I don’t understand how people who are supposed to be in charge of controlling that climate are so irresponsible. It’s too damn hot outside for all of these shenanigans. I’m complaining heavily because of my HVAC repair shop. I’ve never had a problem with this air quality control equipment shop before, but in the past week they’ve really left me hanging. I had an unexpected AC repair come up in the last few days and my HVAC technician is nowhere to be seen. I woke up one morning and found that my indoor environment was brutally hot and sweaty. It felt like a locker room, rather than my kitchen. I immediately inspected the AC unit and found that the cooling system wasn’t running. No matter what I did to the central thermostat, there was no change in the indoor air temperature or silence of our cooling system. I immediately called our usual HVAC repair shop and asked for an immediate appointment for my AC repair service. They promised to have someone on the premises to inspect the HVAC device within the next day… and then they never showed up to follow through on the AC request. When I called the shop after my missed cooling system appointment, they apologized for overbooking their HVAC technicians. I know that times are crazy, but it’s been 3 days since then and I still haven’t seen my own HVAC worker. I’m about to give up and buy a new AC.
