Let my child transport out, she moved right back in

Sometimes it’s best to teach your kids by letting them make sizable mistakes; You can try to keep them safe plus control their lives, but it does no good.

They’re just going to resent you.

In order to let my children learn their lessons, I’ll keep my mouth shut while they experience life on their own. I’ll be here when they come crawling back. This was the case recently when my child insisted that she wanted to transport out of our property to strike out on her own. I could have stopped her, but instead I let her walk right out the door. I knew that she wouldn’t be gone long, with the outdoor air temperature we’ve been experiencing. My child has never had to spend money bills on her own plus I knew she would have no idea what she was in for when the energy bill came around each month. She’s really never seen the energy expense from running an AC machine afternoon in plus afternoon out, however when she moved out, I bet that she would last one month before her utility woes drove her back home. I was wrong; it only took two weeks before she stopped paying her own energy expenses plus was back in the safety of our central AC system. Apparently, within one week of moving into her new digs, the AC machine broke down… Between the cost of an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C emergency maintenance plus her weekly utility bills, my child was broke. She couldn’t live without the AC system plus she couldn’t find more money to cover her portion of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C appointment. She was knocking on our door within days of leaving.
