Periodically I question the decisions that I have made.
- I often believe something is going to be a unbelievable idea and I’m disappointed later on.
It seems like I’m regularly eating my words and taking back the strong opinions that I had. Recently, this was the case when I had to confess that our old dial temperature control was a better chance than this brand up-to-date costly smart temperature control. I never would have thought not there would be a downside to upgrading our air temperature control system. From everything that I had heard, smart temperature controls were the wave of the future. People had been shouting from the rooftops about their energy savings, Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system maintenance, and automatic temperature control programming. I was gleeful to be a part of the next wave of Heating, Ventilation, and A/C technology. It took many months for me to convince my fiance that it was a unbelievable idea to upgrade our heating and cooling system. After my buddy and I finally purchased the brand up-to-date smart temperature control I was ready to gloat about our reduced energy costs and improved indoor air quality. Instead, I found myself shooting myself in the foot. It turns out, smart temperature controls can be genuinely superb if you are not addicted to your iPhone. Unfortunately, my fiance is anything but. Since my buddy and I installed the smart temperature control I believe his iPhone has seen more of him than I have. He’s regularly checking on our indoor air quality control and energy expenditure. In the middle of conversations he will check up on the air-conditioning settings and forced air furnace maintenance schedule. He knows if I move the temperature control up or down 1 degree. This was a awful idea.
