My spouse is a cheapskate.
My friend and I used a refrigerator for two years after the handle broke off the door because it still cooled.
She has piles of used screws & nails. She never throws anything out & she refuses to spend cash if my associate and I don’t have to. And she is always looking for a deal. She won’t even pay cash for routine Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repair. She insists on waiting until something goes wrong, and well, this time something went wrong & she insisted on waiting for a sale to have the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment looked at! Talk about a cheapskate! My friend and I live in a subtropical area, & like a lot of other people & corporations around here, my associate and I have central heat & air conditioning gave by a self contained equipment outside our house, near the back door. I noticed several months back that the humming sound it makes sounded odd & the force of the air from the vents wasn’t as strong as it used to be. I mentioned this complication to my spouse & she told me that my associate and I would have the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment looked at when a local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier has a sale on services. I’ve been seeing for local sales & my associate and I ended up waiting three months. The air conditioning barely worked by then. The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company that came out explained what was wrong with it, & her explanation went right over my head. But, the point was, because my associate and I put off getting the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C repaired, it was now too late to repair it & my associate and I needed a whole modern Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit.
