I thought that having a ductless mini split would make my life easier.
I was completely wrong. Ever since I have had this ductless mini split system I have had nothing but trouble. I used to have air ducts in my home. I thought it would be good to get rid of them to get rid of excess dirt and dust. While that aspect has been nice, I really do not think it has been worth it. I think I will gladly deal with the dirt and dust again if it means that I do not have HVAC system problems ever again. With this new ductless mini split system there is a lot more wiring that is involved. I have had a huge problem with the wires stop working. I also have had an issue with creatures chewing through the wires. I have a problem like these ones at least once a month. There is always something that goes terribly wrong with these wires. I also feel as if I had tried everything. I believe that I am going to go back to having air ducts. Sure, I thought it would be less of a pain but it really is not at all. The HVAC technicians had to put holes in my walls to take the air ducts out. Now they have to put the holes back in the walls to reinstall them into my home. I knew they were not going to be happy about my decision. At least I was going to pay them to do this for me.
