Zone controlled heating for working from home

I love my current living situation.

  • I’ve never been happier than I am now, residing with my boyfriend, our big cuddly dog, and my friendly little guinea pig.

I love having all these boys in my life, and we have an amazing home to boot. Things are a little tight right now financially because my boyfriend is just getting established with his new jobs, but we’re trying our best to get back on our feet. That’s why I’ve been working overtime from home on a few projects, trying to earn an extra buck and contribute to the housing expenses. I love being able to work from home and spend more time with my beloved dog, but there’s one thing that gets me down about being the only human in the house all day; running the HVAC system throughout the entire space when I’m only in one room. I feel like it’s a huge waste of energy and money to be conditioning the indoor air throughout the whole house when I’m sequestered to one particular corner, staring at my computer. That’s why I think it would be wise to invest in zone controlled heating and cooling if I’m going to continue being a stay at home dog mom. It would greatly reduce our energy bills to only heat or cool one section of the house, rather than pumping hot and cold air throughout the entire 2000 square feet. This HVAC investment would pay for itself in only a few month, and we’ll be back on our feet sooner than expected!
