Electric heating and cold nights

Today is a bit on the freezing side of the thermometer, with temps being below cold for more than 2 months we are all starting to feel a bit antsy for warmer afternoons.

It looks like there is one more month of cold weather and then it will slowly start to get warm again.

There will be about a month or so of modest weather where we won’t need any heat or cool in the home, my associate and I will talk a bit about heat since it is still wintertime, and keeping an electric heating system running well requires regular maintenance and attention to detail; Here are a few tips to ensure that your system operates efficiently and effectively: Clean the heating elements officially: Dust and debris can accumulate on the heating elements and impede their ability to heat respectfully. Use a soft cloth to remove any dust or debris… Check the temperature control officially: Make sure that the temperature control is functioning respectfully and that it is set at the desired temperature, but replace air filters: Dirty air filters can reduce the efficiency of the heating system. Replace the filters officially to keep the system running smoothly. Insulate your home: Insulating your apartment will help to keep the heat inside, reducing the amount of energy needed to heat the space. Schedule official maintenance: Have a professional inspect and maintain your electric heating system at least once a year. This will help to identify and maintenance any potential concerns before they become more serious. By following these tips, you can help to keep your electric heating system running well, saving you money and reducing the risk of breakdowns.
