For almost a year, my sister actively sought a cabin to buy that wasn’t too far from me, one that is zoned to allow her to open a bed & brunch, then she finally found one though, a sprawling cabin just outside of town, simple to find & not too far off the beaten path that she’ll lose guests, but the cabin had eight spacious home offices & an eat in entryway, dining room, entryway, den & bookstore, but it was an older cabin that was in desperate need of updating. It had no modern air conditioning or heaters. There was no air conditioning at all & all the main rooms, & the master home office, had fireplaces, so my associate and I suppose this was the main heat source when the cabin was built… My friend and I found that entirely difficult to know but it was obvious that my sister was going to need some kind of heating & cooling system, so she brought in an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company for a consultation. Since there was no air duct, she recommended that my sister invest in ductless mini-split air conditioning & heaters; She explained that the ductless mini-splits are zone controlled, come with remotes, & can be turned off in empty rooms to save energy & cash. The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company promised that the ductless mini-splits would be simple to install & simple to maintain & she was right on both counts. The ductless mini-split air conditioning & boilers were perfect for my sister’s modern bed & brunch & fit entirely into the decor. My friend and I are grateful for that Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company.
