I really love the summer time.
There’s something so relieving about moving away from winter, saying goodbye to the constant cold, and seeing the sun for more hours every day. After hunkering down for the long winter season, it feels like an amazing rebirth when the temperature finally reaches above 32 degrees. Seeing the world start to turn green and hearing the birds return to the trees makes everything seem so much brighter and happier. I love being able to walk out the door without worrying about being warm enough or equipped for disaster. Everything seems easier and cheerier, and every sunny spring day is more pleasant than the last. Once summer really kicks in, however, it is another difficult season to contend with, especially for your HVAC unit. I feel like there’s no way to avoid using your air conditioner every single day to keep your house free of unwanted heat and humidity. The constant AC operation is expensive and noisy, and costs a ton of money in energy usage. It also takes a toll on your HVAC equipment, and your air conditioner needs a fair amount of TLC to stay in tip top condition. That’s why I’m scheduling my cooling unit maintenance immediately in preparation for the pending seasonal change. I know that my AC could use some extra attention in order to operate cleanly and efficiently, and I have seen the difference that a professional HVAC service makes. It definitely pays for itself in energy savings during the summer season. I want to have the coolest summer of my life this year!
